This workshop is taught by Cameron Taylor-Brown and held in the Handweavers' Hui DAC classroom.

Students will begin by briefly reviewing some images of Cameron’s artwork inspired by travel: Red Offerings (Bhutan), Colors of Gujarat (India) and Majestic Stone (Peru), and discuss the various techniques used to create the work.

Next, students will create a mixed media photo collage exploring these techniques - with layering of imagery, fabrics, stitching and yarns - starting with one of Cameron’s images or an image from their own journey.* The journey could be as far away as China or as close as your own backyard.
