Miguel Unson will introduce and cover his approach and techniques to creating his uniquely organic patterns in fused glass. He will share with students his signature method of firing vertical stringers to create unpredictable patterns as well as techniques of cutting, recombining, re-melting and manipulating glass to create unique works.  Students will be encouraged to take these techniques as a departure point for their own work and build it into their aesthetic.  Kilnforming is experience is helpful but not required.
